There is an archive of service recordings, including this one, on our website which can be viewed at home.  If you would like some help to access any of these please email – office@wokingurc.org.uk .  If you would like a recording of this Service, and any other, they are available in various formats by request. ORDER OF SERVICE

The Church is fitted with a loop system.  The words of hymns and songs, and Bible readings etc are displayed on the screen.  As the Service is live streamed you (and / or your family) could be on camera as efforts are made to help those watching at home to feel a part of the worshipping congregation in the Church.

Please continue to wear your mask, if you are able, throughout the Service and while in other parts of the building.

You are invited to have refreshments after the Service in the Forum or at the front of the Sanctuary.

Stall in the foyer after the Service selling the remaining goods made in Zambia in aid of a project in the Lusaka Presbytery of the United Church which is linked with the URC Wessex Synod.

If you are in the Church car park and are not staying for lunch would you please leave by 12.15 to enable those parked in Heathside to move to the Church in time for lunch at 12.30.  Charges at Heathside apply in the afternoon but parking is permitted in the side roads.

The Traidcraft Stall will be open in the Forum after the Service.  Advent Calendars on sale or to order.  The stall will also be open after the Church Meeting today, but not next Sunday, so please stock up today.

If you would like to donate to the work of the Church
 this can be done in a variety of ways as described on the “Giving to the Church” page of the website. For one-off gifts, there is a direct link to the Dona online page from the “Give Online” button on the Homepage, and the contactless device in the Forum is also available. There will be a plate at the back of the Church for anyone wishing to make a cash donation or for Free-will offering envelopes.

Leading Worship elsewhere today.  The Revd David Netherwood is at St Andrew’s URC, Walton-on-Thames and Sydney Shore is at Maidenhead URC.

The Bible Course – 
has started but it is not too late to join in. The next sessions will be on Thursday 2nd December at 7.45 pm via Zoom. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83597009666  Meeting ID: 835 9700 9666There will also be a session at 10am in the person at the Church on the same days as the evening sessions. The in-person sessions are primarily for parents of younger children who are otherwise engaged in the early evening.

Christmas Greetings to the Church family. 
There will be a repeat of the ‘greetings supplement’ this year for WaterAid.  Your greeting should be sent or given to Kate Gray (magazine@wokingurc.org.uk) by 3rd December.  Your donation to WaterAid   (as you will have saved card and postage costs) can be made via the contactless   device in the Forum, via the Church website, direct to the Church bank account or by cheque (details in the November Magazine Extra)

Origin Bookshop at Christ Church Woking has a Bookstall Sale of New and Classic Books from David Walliams to Tom Gates, Tom Fletcher to Charles Dickens, from Winnie the Pooh to Peppa Pig – All 20% OFF in the run up to Christmas!  The Bookshop is also accepting any unwanted Children’s books – all donations will be warmly received! Please hand in your pre-loved books in the Bookshop, open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm.
