Minister – Revd Lucy Brierley
Lucy studied theology at Oxford University before training for ministry in the United Reformed Church. She was ordained and inducted as Minister of Woking URC in 2005. Lucy is married to Justin. They are both parents to Noah, Grace, Jeremy and Toby.
Children and Youth Worker – Leonie Fisher
Leonie became the Children and Youth worker in 2018. She has a background in youth work and foster care and loves crafting and journalling. She coordinates our youth and children’s activities and leads many of the regular groups that meet weekly
Church and Community Worker – David Tuson
Dave has been our Church and Community Worker since 2017, helping to oversee pastoral needs and community outreach work. This includes our regular Lunch Club and Tea at 3.
Dave is married to Karen and is very good at cooking spaghetti bolognese.
Church Administrator – Morwenna Jones
Morwenna has worked as a consultant for both private industry and central government. She then ran her own business for 6 years working with babies and new parents. She now works as our Office Secretary on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays spending the rest of her time focusing on being mum to her children Evan and Eloise.
Premises Manager – Tiny Colleer
Tiny (pronounced “Teeny”) originally comes from Holland. She is in the Church Office Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and manages the use of the premises.
She can help with any enquiries related to hiring the premises.
Church Secretary – Keith Bradley
The Church Secretary, who is always a serving Elder, has the responsibility for general administration and legal issues within the Church. As a Trustee of Woking URC Charity he is the official contact with the Charity Commission. Keith is retired now but his ‘working life’ was in the NHS, health insurance and the medical charity sector. He served for nine years as a Hospital Foundation Trust Governor until 2019. Keith is married to Margaret who is the Church’s Traidcraft Representative.
There are 15 men and women elected as Elders responsible for the pastoral care of members and assisting in the running of the Church.
