The Church is fitted with a loop system. The words of hymns and songs are projected on the screen. Large print hymn books and Bibles are  available, and also printed words of hymns and songs which are not in the hymn book. There are flat cushions available, suitable as back rests. Please ask a Welcomer at the back of the Church for any of these.

Permits for Heathside Car Park (free parking each Sunday 9.30-1.00) are available from Welcomers.

The September issue of the URC magazine Reform is out today.  Please collect your copy in the Forum.  Orders for 2022 are being taken by Janet Collinson.

If you would like to give to the Church this can be done in a variety of ways. There are two different links on the front page of the Church’s website or Facebook page – Cafonline and Givt a new easy to use contactless device in the Forum and regular giving can also be set up by bank standing order.

It’s time to sit together again. The appeal for new chairs for the Sanctuary and Chapel is still open and there are four easy ways to donate:

2. By cheque payable to – Woking URC with “Chairs” written on the reverse. 
3. Credit Cards – using the contactless device on the left of the doors from the Forum to the Foyer.  Please select “Time to sit together”.
4. Online – using the link on the Church website and selecting “Time to sit together”.  This appeal will close on 10th September

Leading Worship elsewhere this morning.  The Revd David Netherwood is at Elstead URC and Sydney Shore is at Fleet URC.

Forthcoming election of Elders.  The box for completed nomination forms is in the Forum and will be there each Sunday until 19th September.  Additional forms are also available.

The Bible Course – first session, related to Sunday mornings, will be on
Thursday 23rd September at 7.45 pm via Zoom.  Books, price £5, may be
requested by email – office@wokingurc.org.uk or purchased in the Forum after the Service, payment can be taken by cash or card.  Reserve your place for the course also by emailing the office.   

Covid Vaccination Hub at the Church.  This will begin on Monday 13th September.  If you would like to offer to be a volunteer please
contact the NHS volunteer coordinator, Nikki Kane, on
volunteers.urc@gmail.com or contact Tiny in the church office (premises@wokingurc.org.uk) for more information. The volunteer shifts will be 3.5 hours long and you can do as many or few as you like. There will also be opportunities to volunteer to serve refreshments so do ask Tiny about that too.
