Community
We are extensively involved in a variety of ways in our local community, ranging from daily, weekly or monthly events to special half term events such as the Petting Farm with Ferris Wheel. We also support, on a regular basis, a variety of local projects such as The York Road Project, Woking Street Angels and Your Sanctuary.

Community Coffee
Our church is just a short walk from Woking Railway Station and hundreds of commuters and school children pass our doors every day.

So, twice per month from 7am, a small team of hardy volunteers stand on the pavement to give out free tea and coffee to those passing by. It’s just a small way of blessing and connecting with our local community.

And at Christmas there’s hotdogs too!
Vaccination Centre
Covid + Flu vacinations with Fastheal Pharma

Responding to a request to provide a local centre for Covid
vaccinations, we opened the Sanctuary for the first clients on 18 September 2021. Many volunteers helped alongside the professionals to run the centre delivering thousands of jabs to date.

Whilst the demand for this service has changed we are still opening the centre as required on a more limited basis. Please contact FastHeal Pharmacy for opening times/vaccination queries: https://fasthealpharmacy.com/coivd-vaccine-booking

Community Events
Over the year's we have held many events for the local community including Funfairs, Petting Farms in the car park, Reptile shows and even turned the Sancutary into an Ice Rink!
These are often held as a fundraising event in partnership with a charity but also to further our engagement with the local community.
