Call to Worship
God, Father and Mother of all the human race,
God who lives within every human being, in every child, woman and man,
God, broken by the world’s divisiness,
Hurt by our woundedness,
Dying in every battlefield.
Vulnerable, Holy God.
We offer to you ourselves as we come together to worship
And we ask you to transform us from within,
To heal our hurts and hates,
And to lead us to ways of peace and growth.
Amen

Act of Remembrance
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
we will remember them
We will remember them
Two minutes silence
When you go home tell them of us and say,
for your tomorrow we gave our today.
Prayer said together:
Ever-living God we remember those whom you have
gathered from the storm of war into the peace of
your presence;
may that same peace calm our fears,
bring justice to all peoples
and establish harmony among the nations,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
