ORDER OF SERVICE

The Church is fitted with a loop system.  The words of hymns and songs, and Bible readings etc are displayed on the screen.  As the Service is live streamed you (and / or your family) could be on camera as efforts are made to help those watching at home to feel a part of the worshipping congregation in the Church.

Please continue to wear your mask, if you are able, throughout the Service and while in other parts of the building.

The Traidcraft Stall will be open in the Forum after the Service.  Advent Calendars on sale or to order.

If you would like to donate to the work of the Church
 this can be done in a variety of ways as described on the “Giving to the Church” page of the website. For one-off gifts, there is a direct link to the Dona online page from the “Give Online” button on the Home page, and the contactless device in the Forum is also available.  There will be a plate at the back of the Church for anyone wishing to make a cash donation or for Free-will offering envelopes.

The Bible Course – 
has started but it is not too late to join in.  The next sessions, will be on Thursday 11th November at 7.45 pm via Zoom.  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83597009666  Meeting ID: 835 9700 9666 There will also be a session at 10am in the person at the Church on the same days as the evening sessions.  The in person sessions are primarily for parents of younger children who are otherwise engaged in the early evening.

Lunch and Church Meeting on Sunday 21st November
.  There are sign-up sheets in the Forum to book for lunch, offer to help and to give names for childcare during the meeting.  Also, an apologies for absence sheet.  The election of Elders will take place at the meeting.  If you are unable to be present and would like to vote please ask the Church Secretary for a ballot paper.

Covid Vaccination Hub at the Church. 
 If you would like to offer to be a volunteer please contact the NHS volunteer coordinator, Nikki Kane, on  volunteers.urc@gmail.com or contact Tiny in the church office (premises@wokingurc.org.uk) for more information. The volunteer shifts will be 3.5 hours and there are opportunities to volunteer to serve refreshments so do ask Tiny about that too.
