Heathside Car Park permits for Sunday mornings.  Permits for this year are available today from the Welcomers

You are invited to stay for refreshments after the Service. They will be served in the Forum and in the Sanctuary.  Please do stay, if you can, to enjoy a time to meet and talk with each other.

WaterAid Lent Appeal. 
This annual appeal will run until just after Easter.  You are invited to contribute via: The card machine in the Forum, the Church website, directly to the Church bank account (reference WaterAid) or by cheque payable to Woking URC (with WaterAid on the reverse) which can be sent to the Church office or the Church Treasurer.
The Traidcraft Stall will be open in the Forum after the Service.  Hurry, while current stock lasts as Tradecraft is, sadly, having to close down.

this can be done in a variety of ways as described on the
“Giving to the Church” page of the website. For one-off gifts,
 there is a direct link to the Dona online page from the “Give
Online” button on the Home page, and the contactless device
in the Forum is also available.  There is a plate at the back of
the Church and an offering bag under the Dona device in the
Forum for anyone wishing to make a cash donation.


Collection point for the York Road Project and Your Sanctuary every Sunday. Items which would be appreciated by the York Road Project are: Sugar sachets, coffee sachets, jars of coffee, tea; pasta, rice; squash (orange or blackcurrant), bottled or cans of water; pot noodles; fresh fruit and vegetables; individually wrapped biscuits or other snacks, individual chocolate bars, tinned goods; boxer shorts (new) – men’s small and medium.  Your Sanctuary would particularly be grateful for tea, coffee, pasta, rice, tins of beans, veg, soups etc. Also, toiletries, and new or nearly new unwanted items which may be sold on Ebay office@wokingurg.org.uk

Church Group at the New Victoria Theatre Pantomime.  A reservation has been made for Peter Pan on Thursday 28th December at 7 pm and the confirmation /pay date has been extended to 18th June.  Seats are £24.50 (full price £36.50), providing the group is 50+.  Folder for names in the Forum.

Stepwise – Faith filled life – Introductory session – Tuesday 16th May from 6.30 -8.30 pm at Guildford URC.  There are six monthly sessions from June to November.  To book: please complete a participant form available on the Synod website www.urcwessex.org.uk/discipleship   Please book before 8th May.  John Sinclair, who has taken this course, will be pleased to tell you more about it.

Coffee Morning in aid of Woking Hospice, in memory of Jane Sinclair – Saturday 15th April at St John’s Church, West Byfleet.  From 10.30 am until 12 noon.  Donations of cakes to sell welcomed.  Further details, if needed, from John Sinclair.
