Minister – Revd Lucy Brierley

Lucy studied theology at Oxford University before training for ministry in the United Reformed Church. She was ordained and inducted as Minister of Woking URC in 2005. Lucy is married to Justin. They are both parents to Noah, Grace, Jeremy and Toby.

Children’s Worker – Alison Warlow

Alison is our new Children’s Worker, working part-time alongside Phil, our Youth Worker. Alison will be overseeing all our work with children up to school year 6 including Junior Church and the weekly toddler group.

Alison has many years of experience working with children from birth to 12 years old. Alison’s family are regular attendees with Alison having grown up in the church. Upon moving back to the area in 2018, she and her husband Rob both became church members. They have two children, their son Matthew can often be seen, and heard, making a contribution to Sunday morning worship. Baby Eloise, born in July is also becoming a vocal member of the congregation.

Church and Community Worker – David Tuson

Dave has been our Church and Community Worker since 2017, helping to oversee pastoral needs and community outreach work. This includes our regular Lunch Club and Tea at 3.

Dave is married to Karen and is very good at cooking spaghetti bolognese.

Church Administrator – Morwenna Jones

Morwenna has worked as a consultant for both private industry and central government.  She then ran her own business for 6 years working with babies and new parents.  She now works as our Office Administrator splitting her hours between working at home and from the office. She is most easily contactable via email.

Morwenna is married with two children, two cats, and a dog. Sometimes Peggy the dog comes to work too, although she is not very helpful with paperwork!

Premises Manager – Tiny Colleer

Tiny (pronounced “Teeny”) originally comes from Holland. She is in the Church Office Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and manages the use of the premises.

She can help with any enquiries related to hiring the premises.

Church Secretary – Keith Bradley

The Church Secretary, who is always a serving Elder, has the responsibility for general administration and legal issues within the Church.  As a Trustee of Woking URC Charity he is the official contact with the Charity Commission.  Keith is retired now but his ‘working life’ was in the NHS, health insurance and the medical charity sector.  He served for nine years as a Hospital Foundation Trust Governor until 2019.  Keith is married to Margaret who is the Church’s Traidcraft Representative.



There are 15 men and women elected as Elders responsible for the pastoral care of members and assisting in the running of the Church.
