We hope to resume our prior offering of age-related activities at the church once lockdown restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so. Please get in touch to join our “Family Zoom” call before the service and receive the “Sunday Sermon Challenge” to keep the younger members busy.
FURY is also meeting via Zoom on the third Sunday of each month.
Under normal circustances, everyone joins in the first part of the Sunday morning service before children and young people go to their own activity groups.
Tots Together (0-4 years)
Meets in the church lounge as a transitional group preparing the children for the Junior Church activities.
The Tots Together programme aims to provide play and toys for toddlers and babies, whilst including developmental activities for the 2 and 3 year olds. All activities are age/stage appropriate and the children can take part in as much or as little as the wish.
Junior Church (5-10 years)
Children aged 5 to 10 years old join together in the hall, divided into two age-appropriate groups – Smarties and Junior Heroes.
There’s singing, crafts, drama, reading and writing and much more on offer as we follow the same teaching theme as the rest of the congregation.
FURY (Fellowship of United Reformed Youth) – is the name of the youth organisation of the United Reformed Church for those who are 11 years and older.
Meeting in the Youth Room (with hot chocolate!) the young people explore and discuss various topics, usually following the same teaching theme as the rest of the congregation.
