Christian Aid Turkey/Syria Earthquake Disaster Appeal. There is an opportunity to contribute to this appeal by using the card machine or by cash/cheque in the plate, both in the Forum. Please make cheques payable to ‘Woking URC’. There is also a link to give on the Church website.
Heathside parking permits. Free parking every Sunday from 8.30am to 1pm. Ask a Welcomers for one to display in your car.
The Traidcraft Stall will not be open today. Back next Sunday. See Margaret Bradley for urgent supplies. Orders not being taken at the moment due to the uncertainty of the future of Traidcraft having recently gone into ‘Administration’
If you would like to donate to the work of the Church this can be done in a variety of ways as described on the “Giving to the Church” page of the website. For one-off gifts, there is a direct link to the Dona online page from the “Give Online” button on the Home page, and the contactless device in the Forum is also
available. There is a plate at the back of the Church and an offering bag under the Dona device in the Forum for anyone wishing to make a cash donation.

Collection point for the York Road Project and Your Sanctuary every Sunday. Items which would be appreciated by the York Road Project are: Sugar sachets, coffee sachets, jars of coffee, tea; pasta, rice; squash (orange or blackcurrant), bottled or cans of water; pot noodles; fresh fruit and vegetables; individually wrapped biscuits or other snacks, individual chocolate bars, tinned goods; boxer shorts (new) – men’s small and medium.
Your Sanctuary would particularly be grateful for tea, coffee, pasta, rice, tins of beans, veg, soups etc. Also, toiletries, and new or nearly new unwanted items which may be sold on Ebay
A programme of six Zoom sessions for Reasons to Believe has begun, but it is not too late to join in.All are Thursday evenings at 7.45pm on 23rd February, 9th March and 23rd March. Please make a note in your diaries. To book and receive the Zoom link please contact – office@wokingurc.org.uk
Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Jean Bryant. This will be on Monday 27th February at 2 pm followed by refreshments (the Committal will have been held earlier in the day). Peter and his family would be pleased if friends from the Church could join them and in order to have approximate numbers would you please let Peter know if you hope to attend by 14th February – pandjbryant@ntlworld.com (or tell him personally today).
Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Bob Smyth. This will be on Friday 10th March at 3 pm followed by tea (Family Committal will have been held earlier in the afternoon).
Lunch and Talk – Thursday 2nd March 12.45 to3.15 pm. The Conquest of the Incas and the Discovery of Machu Picchu. Fish & Chips and alternatives for lunch. Sign up sheet in the Forum. Please book by 26th February for catering purposes.

Are you able to help sponsor a Ukrainian refugee? We have been asked if there is anyone who may be able to provide short-stay accommodation for a couple and their 10 year old son, or for a single woman looking for accommodation for 3-4 months.
