How do I hold onto my faith in testing times?
David came to faith aged 11 at a Crusader Camp before working for the organisation in the 1990’s – training leaders and establishing new groups. He and his wife Heather have two young adult children, Josh & Holly. David spent 10 years in full-time pastoral ministry at Emmanuel Chapel (here in Woking) and another 8 years leading a large church in Salford, before returning to Surrey four years ago. David & Heather started attending Woking URC last summer and became members in November. In addition to starting a new business, David supports local Christian leaders; leads a bible study group; and is a Trustee for the national youth charity, Urban Saints (formerly Crusaders).

Collection point for the York Road Project and Your Sanctuary every Sunday. Items which would be appreciated are: Sugar sachets, coffee sachets, jars of coffee, tea; pasta, rice; squash (orange or blackcurrant), bottled or cans of water; pot noodles; fresh fruit and vegetables; individually wrapped biscuits or other snacks, individual chocolate bars, tinned goods; boxer shorts (new) – men’s small and
medium. Your Sanctuary would particularly be grateful for toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion.
A programme of six Zoom sessions for Reasons to Believe has begun, but it is not too late to join in.All are Thursday evenings at 7.45pm on 9th February, 23rd February, 9th March and 23rd March.
