participate at home and the sound of praise may ring across the
town and many other parts of the world!

There will be an opportunity to pray out loud or silently for anything which is on your heart. If you would like to give to the Church this can be done through two different links on the front page of the Church’s website or Facebook page – Cafonline and Givt (a new method launched recently). Regular giving can also be set up by these methods or by bank standing order.
Prayers are very important, particularly at this time of isolation. If you
would like to request a prayer or volunteer to commit to praying regularly at home, and receive a prayer list please email Morwenna at office@wokingurc.org.uk

If you would like to listen to another Service…..the URC is sending one out at 10 am each Sunday morning which can be accessed at any time
afterwards. Just go to – https://devotions.urc.org.uk – and you can also be
signed up for the daily email which gives a Bible reading, a commentary and a prayer.

Monday – The Girls’ Brigade and Boys’ Brigade Zoom meetings
Age groups meeting at various times starting from 6pm until 8pm.

Wednesday – 7.30 pm (after Pause for Prayer) on Zoom – Variety Evening – the sequel. If you would like to take part – sing, dance, play an instrument,

A short Service as close as possible to the weekly gathering for prayers which was held at the Church.

Thursday – 11.30am to 12.30 at the Church. Gifts for the York Road Project/ Regular items welcomed – Bottled water, jars of sauces for things such as bolognaise and curries, small UHT milk pots, fresh chicken or beef and fresh fruit and vegetables. Supplementary list – coffee sachets, pot noodles/snack pots, deodorants/ antiperspirants, shaving foam/razors and men’s NEW underwear (small & medium) but no other clothing for the time being.

Easter greetings cards to the neighbourhood. If you are able to help deliver these cards to 2000 homes in the vicinity of the Church during week commencing 22nd March please send an email message to office@wokingurc.org.uk

Lent Jars of Change WaterAid appeal. As collecting change in jars will not
be easy during Lent you are invited to make a donation in one of the following ways – 1. by going to the Woking URC website and selecting the CAFdonate link for WaterAid 2.by bank transfer, reference WaterAid or 3.by cheque, payable to Woking URC, with WaterAid on the back and sent either to Chris Temple at home or addressed to him at the Church.

Churches Together in Woking Good Friday Service. This will be an on-line Service in some format to be announced. If you would like to take part by giving material for a testimony please see John Sinclair for details.
