Morning Worship
Led by John Sinclair

Be Prepared

John, who is a serving Elder in this Church, is undertaking training to be an Assembly Accredited Lay Preacher in the URC.  This morning we will also be joined by one of his tutors from Northern College, Manchester.

ORDER OF SERVICE

The Church is fitted with a loop system.  The words of hymns and songs, and Bible readings etc are displayed on the screen. Bibles and hymn books in standard and large print are also available from the Welcomers.  As the Service is live streamed you (and / or your family) could be on camera as efforts are made to help those watching at home to feel a part of the worshipping congregation in the Church.  If you have any concerns regarding this, please speak to an Elder or Welcomer.

Welcoming people to the Church during the week.  The Church is a busy place every day with people coming to the various groups and activities which meet regularly as well as the vaccination centre.  The Church has also registered as a Warm Welcome place and there will be people coming in so that heating costs in their homes can be reduced.  If you would like to be a Welcomer to offer refreshments and an opportunity to talk, please contact Tiny, Premises Manager –
premises@wokingurc.org.uk or phone 01483 763078.

These will then all be included in a Christmas ‘Extra’ dedicated to the whole Church family which will be issued during December.  As usual, thinking of the savings made on card purchases and postage, you are asked to make a donation to WaterAid.

Collection point for the York Road Project and Your Sanctuary every Sunday. Items which would be appreciated are: Sugar sachets, coffee sachets, jars of coffee, tea; pasta, rice; squash (orange or blackcurrant), bottled or cans of water; pot
noodles; fresh fruit and vegetables; individually wrapped biscuits or other snacks,
