Believing and Belonging – Leaflets about this autumn worship series are available in the Forum for you to take away to give to friends, neighbours, and relatives and to invite them to come ’back to Church’ with you.

You are invited to stay for refreshments after the Service if you wish. They will be served in the Forum and in the Sanctuary, or in the Church garden instead of the Sanctuary if fine.  Please do stay if you can to enjoy a time to meet and talk with each other.

Heathside parking permits .
Free parking every Sunday from 8.30am to 1pm.  Ask a Welcomers for one to display in your car.

The Traidcraft Stall will not be open today or next Sunday.

If you would like to donate to the work of the Church
 his can be done in a variety of ways as described on the “Giving to the Church” page of the website. For one-off gifts, there is a direct link to the Dona online page from the “Give Online” button on the Home page, and the contactless device in the Forum is also available.  There is be a plate at the back of the Church and an offering bag under the Dona device in the Forum for anyone wishing to make a cash donation.

Forthcoming election of Elders.  There is a box for completed nomination forms in the Forum.  Spare copies of the letter and nomination forms are also available.  Last day for nominations is TODAY.
The URC’s Jubilee celebrations will be happening in London on Saturday 1st October. Please start to think about Christmas Gift ‘shoe boxes’.  In order to support the charity ‘Link to Hope’ which distributes gift boxes to families and elderly people in Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Ukraine, boxes need to be ready by 30th October. Please pick up a leaflet in the Forum or see the page in the September Church Magazine.  Marianne Basey or Ann Parris will be pleased to help with any queries.

Church group at the pantomime.  
A reservation has been made for Cinderella at the New Victoria Theatre on Thursday 29th December at 7 pm.  Good stalls seats for only £18 (full price would be £34.50).  There is a sign-up sheet in the Forum.  Last day to book – next Sunday, 25th September.


Wessex Synod meeting at Woking URC on Saturday 8th October.  Can you help with serving refreshments—morning, lunch time or afternoon, or giving lifts for short distances from car parks to the Church from about 9.30am and then in reverse at about 4.30pm.  Please contact Morwenna in the Church office with all offers of help on office@wokingurc.org.uk or 01483763078
